Next month, mums across Kent have another chance to get their fix of Kent-born heartthrob Orlando Bloom when the movie star reads the bedtime story on children's channel CBeebies.
Bloom, who was born and grew up in Canterbury, will read We Are Together, written by Britta Teckentrup, on the the daily 6.50pm slot.
The story celebrates the importance of having special friends and family in your life.
The actor and former St Edmund's School pupil will appear on the show on Friday, November 9.
He said: “Through my travels as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador I’ve met children in countries all over the world, and witnessed firsthand how storytelling between adults and young children helps cement their bond.
"Children light up when being taken on imaginary adventures through storytelling, and it helps their creativity grow.
"It was great to be a part of CBeebies Bedtime Stories.”
It is the first of two stories recorded for CBeebies by Bloom, who received an honorary degree from the University of Kent in July 2010.
Other famous names to have read stories on the channel include Tom Hardy, Sir Elton John and Dolly Parton.
