A PRIZED sports car was written off after vandals threw paint on it while it was parked on the owner’s driveway.
White gloss paint was poured over the soft top MG F-model owned by Tracy Mitchell, of Highview Road, Minster near Sheerness.
The attacker threw more paint over the front door of the house, walls and kitchen window, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
After the attack on New Years Eve, Tracy has been told a new front door and windows will be needed because the paint cannot be removed.
A specialist team will also be called in to remove the paint from the wall.
She said: “The attack must have been targeted as nobody else in the road was affected. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before.”
The MGF-model is thought to have been worth around £4,000 and was bought for Tracy by her husband Alex in 2003 as a silver wedding anniversary present.
She added: “The car was my pride and joy and had a great deal of sentimental value, too.”
Swale police said this week they were working to carry out a forensic examination of the vehicle.
