A MAN was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the early hours of Sunday morning. The 21-year-old was found with three puncture wounds to his back at around 6am in St Pauls Cray, Orpington.

Associates of the victim took him to a nearby ambulance station where he was transferred to Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Police cordoned off Chipperfield Road, the scene of the alleged crime, while they investigate.
