THE emergency services were called to the postroom at the Civic Centre at Strood today following an "incident" there.

Members of staff have been stopped from entering or leaving the car park.

A number of police cars and fire engines are at the scene. Staff have been told that any possible contamination was being dealt with and there was no cause for alarm.
