A STUDENT has been found dead in halls of residence in a Kent city.

The body of 20-year-old Andrew James Hewitt was discovered at Dickens House halls of residence in New Road, Rochester.

A post-mortem examination recorded the cause of death as suspension.

Andrew had just completed the first year of a photography course at the University College for the Creative Arts based on Fort Pitt Hill, Rochester.

His family are believed to be from Ilford in Essex.
