A TEENAGER was left badly shaken after two robbers threatened to stab him with a bloodied syringe.

Student Luke Hayward, 16, was told by the men that the blood on the needle was contaminated with Aids. It was held to his throat and the thugs demanded he handed over his gold watch.

The incident took place at the railway station at Greenhithe, near Dartford, at around 7pm on Monday while Luke was with a friend, 17-year-old Ken Juby.

The two assailants approached on the platform and one of them suddenly pulled out the syringe.

Luke, a student at Upbury Arts College, Gillingham, said: "It had blood in it and he demanded I handed over my gold bracelet. I was terrified. The other man then pulled out another syringe and told my mate to hand over any money he had.

"Ken only had a couple of quid and the man laughed at us saying he would now be able to pop to McDonalds. Both of us are still in shock."

The first man is described as white, between 25 and 26 years-old, five foot 10 inches, stocky build, clean shaven with a southern accent. He was wearing a hooded cream waist length jacket with dark trousers and white trainers.

His accomplice is described as, white, mid twenties, dark brown untidy hair, clean-shaven. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, dark trousers and blue and yellow trainers.
