POLICE are appealing for information about a stone sundial stolen from the churchyard at St Peter and St Paul Church in Station Road, Shoreham, near Sevenoaks.

The sundial, presented to the church in the late 1800s by Lord Milday, is metal on a heavy stone stand and would have needed two or three people to carry it.

It was taken sometime between Sunday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 15.
