Classical crossover singer Alfie Boe has brought all genres of music to new audiences around the world.
Accompanied by his superb band, Alfie performs songs from his two latest albums, Bring Him Home and Alfie, on his latest national tour. Both albums have been in the top 10 in the UK album charts and, between them, sold more than half a million records.
A West End, Broadway and recording superstar, Alfie’s triumphant performances as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables earned him relentless standing ovations in the West End production and on the globally televised 25th-anniversary concerts of the musical at the O2 arena.
The 38-year-old is the youngest child in a family of nine children, born in Blackpool.
Initially signed to the Classic FM Presents label, his debut album reached No3 in the classical charts and Kent fans will remember his concert in Canterbury Cathedral with New Zealand soprano Hayley Westenra.
He arrives in Kent after a spell performing at the Sydney Opera House and across Europe.
