A FIRE in a garage is though to have been started by arsonists.

Firefighters from Strood were called out to the burning outhouse in Love Lane, Rochester, at about 8.20am on Friday.

A spokesman for Strood fire station said: "It was a detached garage at the end of Love Lane. It suffered about 40 per cent damage and we do suspect a case of arson."

Firefighters were on scene for about an hour.
