Fire crews have been dealing with a suspected arson attack at an Islamic boarding school in Kent.

More than 120 pupils and staff were evacuated from Darul Uloom in Chislehurst, near Bromley just before midnight.

Two people have been treated for the effects of breathing in smoke.

It is understood the alarm was raised at 11.50pm on Saturday and around 20 firefighters tackled the blaze.

London Fire Brigade says there was only minor damage to the building.

The school is believed to have opened in the late 1980s.
