A Swanley man has died following a crash between a motorcycle and a street cleaner lorry.

The incident happened at 11.45am today on the slip road leading off Maidstone Road in the town on to the A20.

A blue Yamaha motorcycle and an Iveco Scarab street cleaner lorry, which was working on the road, were involved.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Health and Safety Executive have been informed about the crash, and the coroner's office notified.
