A MAN whose body was found in a flat had been shot, a post mortem examination revealed.

The victim, who is black and believed to be in his 30s, has not yet been formally identified as detectives try to contact next of kin.

Police were called to the flat, in Lucas Court, Bell Green Lane, Lower Sydenham, near Beckenham, on Monday evening.

Officers from the Metropolitan police’s specialist crime directorate are investigating.
