A talented Rochester pupil hit all the right notes at a music festival.

Lucy Ogden, seven, who attends King’s School, scooped three first prizes at The Maidstone Festival of Adjudicated Musical Performances.

She impressed the judges with her piano solo, piano duet and bassoon solo.

Lucy has taken piano lessons at King’s for three years and 18 months ago she also took up the bassoon.

She has reached grade five in piano and recorder, and grade three in her bassoon tuition.
