The Italian food market, Italia in Piazza, comes to Rainham for the first time on Sunday.

The market will be in Rainham Shopping Centre, High Street, Rainham and will be open from 10am to 4pm.

Italia in Piazza is a traditional Italian Food Market, which consists of 18 gazebos decorated with Italian flags. All of the foods on sale, including some of the breads, are imported directly from producers in Italy.

There will be a wide variety of foods on sale including a vast array of cheeses and cured meats, a wonderful selection of the classic Cremona Torrone (nougat), cakes, sweets and a variety of biscuits.

The market will also feature a variety of olive oils, balsamic vinegars and a selection of olives, as well as different shapes and sizes of pasta and speciality breads.
