Teacher arrested in child porn probe

A TEACHER at a public school is under investigation and has been suspended after allegedly accessing child pornography in front of young pupils.

The 48-year-old teacher was immediately suspended from his post at the King’s Preparatory School in Rochester.

It is alleged that the teacher, who does not live in Medway, accessed the indecent images on a memory stick when he asked a pupil to put it into a computer.

Police were called and the married father of two was arrested and a criminal investigation launched.

Dr Ian Walker, King’s School headmaster, confirmed a teacher had been suspended.
