A 31-year-old school teacher has appeared before a judge at Maidstone Crown Court on serious sex charges.

Matthew Back, of Winstanley Road, Sheerness, is accused of three charges of engaging in sexual activity, two of possessing indecent photographs of a child and one of inciting a child to be involved in pornography.

Back, who taught at Minster Primary School on Sheppey, will return to court on February 25, when he is expected to enter pleas.
