There was a jar of goodies for everyone at a church Christmas fair at the weekend.
Among the highlights at the fair at All Saints’ Church, Eastchurch, on Saturday, was the chance, for a 50p donation, to win one of some 100 jars filled with treats ranging from sweets to hair accessories.
Other attractions at the church, which was decked out in tinsel and seasonal decorations, were a teddy stall, cakes, and lots of things to keep both young and old amused.
Visitors who were not already in festive mood were helped along with Christmas music which played throughout the day.
The event is hoped to have raised around £600 for the church.
Fund raiser Sylvia Steele said: “It was a cold day but that didn’t put people off. It was a lovely Christmas atmosphere and everyone who came appears to have spent well.”
