A teenager suffered a broken cheekbone after being attacked by two men in an unprovoked attack near a Minster nightclub.

The 17-year-old was walking across the car park of Layzell's, in The Broadway, when he was assaulted.

The victim also suffered a burst blood vessel in his eye.

Both his attackers are said to have had foreign accents.

The first is described as white, slim, 35 to 38, about 6ft 1in and with short blond hair.

The second man is also white, 25 to 30, about 5ft 11in, stocky and with black hair. He was wearing a vest top.

The attack happened at 2.15am on Saturday, October 13, but the incident was only reported to police on Friday when the victim realised the extent of his injuries.

DC Kathryn Lumsden-Earle, from Kent Police, appealed for witnesses to get in touch.

She added: "This appears to be an unprovoked assault, which left the victim with serious injuries."
