Teen clocked speeding at 108mph

A teenage boy-racer has been banned from driving for three weeks after clocking 108mph on the M2.

Charlie Lewis, 18, from Gravesend, appeared before Medway Magistrates Court, in Chatham, and was also ordered to pay £100 fine, as well as other court costs.

Lewis, of Mackenzie Way, was caught speeding on the motorway at Rochester, on Monday, December 29, last year and was given the driving ban on Thursday, April 9.

He pleaded guilty to the offence and is banned from driving for 21 days, he also incurred £35 court costs and a £15 surcharge.
