A teenage boy has been seriously hurt after a one car smash on the M20.

The incident, involving a green Ford KA, happened at 2.50am today between junction 2 for Wrotham and junction 4 for West Malling and Leybourne.

The 18-year-old driver of the vehicle was rushed to hospital in London. His condition is not known.

The coastbound carriageway has been closed while accident investigators work on the scene.
