POLICE are appealing for information after a 14-year-old boy was assaulted.
The teenage victim was in the ground floor toilets of the Pentagon Centre, Chatham, and waiting outside a cubicle when a man exposed himself to him.
He then touched his leg before leaving the toilets. The 14-year-old immediately alerted his parents and along with security staff, police conducted a search of the area.
Unfortunately they were unable to locate the suspect.
The incident occurred between 6pm and 6.30pm on Friday December 14.
The suspect is described as being a white male, in his early sixties, between 5’5” and 5’6” tall, of large build, with fluffy, messy white hair that had a slight ‘quiff’ at the front.
He wore a grey fleece, which was unzipped, a blue or dark green shirt and blue or brown jeans.
No other incidents of this nature have been reported to police in the area, the investigation remains ongoing.
DC Paula Patterson said: ‘We have made a number of enquiries and viewed hours of CCTV footage. Officers have sought potential witnesses and taken a thorough account of event from the boy involved.
“I would like to ask anyone who may have been in the area when this crime occurred to cast their minds back and come forward if they remember anything that could help us with this investigation.’
