Four girls were found by police this morning after spending a freezing night lost in woods.
A huge search and rescue operation was launched when the teenagers were reported to wandering in woodland near Kearnsey Abbey near Dover at around 2.15am.
The police, fire service and coastguard were called to help the girls, believed to be from the Folkestone area, who had travelled to Dover Priory train station and were trying to walk to the country house and gardens late last night.
Police officers got to the scene and used sirens and blue lights to try and find them.
A coastguard helicopter was called and the girls were found at about 7.30am this morning.
They were winched to safety and moved to a sports field on Elms Vale Road, Dover where they were met by ambulance staff.
They were taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford suffering from the cold but had no other injuries.
