Teenage passenger killed in road smash

A 17-year-old boy died at the scene of a crash in a Kent village in the early hours of Saturday.

According to Kent Police, the crash happened at around 12.15am in Bossingham Road, Stelling Minnis, about seven miles from Canterbury.

The teenage victim, from Sidcup, was a passenger in the Ford Fiesta which overturned.

The driver and two other passengers were also hurt - but their injuries are not believed to be serious.

The road was closed for around six hours after the incident while Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit examined the scene.
