Teenager arrested over Capstone fight

A teenager has been arrested after a fight broke out at Capstone Country Park in Gillingham.

Kent Police has arrested a 17-year-old boy from Chatham following the incident at about 4.30pm on Tuesday.

A 17-year-old boy suffered a fractured cheekbone and his friend, also 17, suffered bruising after an arugument broke out between them and three other youths.

The boy with the fractured cheekbone was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.

Polcie arrested the 17-year-old on Wednesday. He has been released on police bail until March 2 pending further investigation.

Det Insp Anne Lisseman, who is investigting the case, said: "We believe that there were a number of people who were in the park at that time of day who may have information about this incident.
