AN 18-year-old man from Rushenden died after being thrown from his car in a late-night crash in Sheerness.
The teenager was driving a white Ford Sierra Sapphire in Marine Parade when it was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Corsa and went on to hit a lamppost.He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The accident, near the Ship-on-Shore pub, happened at about 11.15pm on Tuesday. A Swale Police spokesman said the man driving the other car and believed to be from Minster was not thought to have suffered any serious injuries.
