TWO men have been arrested in connection with the murder of teenager Sunday Essiet.
The 18-year-old from Thamesmead and 21-year-old from Abbey Wood were arrested by detectives investigating the stabbing of the 15-year-old, on Tuesday.
They are being questioned at a south London police station.
It is the second time a teenager has been fatally stabbed in south east London in as many months.
Faridon Alizada, 18, from Woolwich died following an incident outside Verona House in Waterhead Close, Erith, on January 5.
Sunday, from Bermondsey, south east London, died in Invermore Place, Plumstead.
Det Supt Phil Adams, of the homicide and serious crime command at Lewisham police station, said: “I am pleased to say that we have already had a large number of people from the local community come forward, but we would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information.”
