STAR of the 118 adverts, Colin Carmichael, is coming to Horton Kirby tonight, to celebrate the classic Emily Bronte novel, Wuthering Heights.
Carmichael is teaming up with artist, singer, musician, animator, director, performer and storyteller Kazuko Hohki for the performance.
Kazuko was a founder of the Anglo-Japanese punk girl group The Frank Chickens and also had her own Channel 4 programme in 1989, Kazuko’s Karaoke Klub.
She wrote the play over several years and in collaboration with Mr Carmichael.
Clive Bell, who specialises in far eastern music and studied the shakuhachi (Japanese flute) in Tokyo, is composing and directing the music on the night.
Tickets are priced at £7 each, to book your seat or for further details about the performance in the Horton Kirby village hall, call Ken on 07789 878942 or Richard on 01322 862806.
