A RAPIST ordered his victim to tell him she loved him as he assaulted her before putting a plastic bag over her head and fleeing, a jury was told.

It is alleged Antoni Imiela, of Heathside, Appledore, near Ashford, was the man who made the demands as he attacked the woman in woodland in Epsom, Surrey.

The 49-year-old is said to have raped her the day after raping a 52-year-old woman on Wimbledon Common in South London.

The then 26-year-old was walking home after getting off a bus on August 7, 2002, when she described being bumped in to with force by a man who grabbed her across the face and eyes.

Giving evidence at Maidstone Crown Court, the blonde woman stood for an hour speaking clearly and calmly. She said: "It was a white person with quite rough hands. They were dirty.

"He said 'don't scream' in quite an angry voice. He was dragging and pushing me towards the woods. I was trying to scream. He told me not to. He said he would kill me."

Her attacker led her in to woodland, threatening that he had a knife. Then he pushed her to the floor, groped her, before ripping her vest top and bra off.

He continued to strip her and she was so scared she put her top over her eyes so she could not see her attacker.

After performing a sex act on himself, the man said to her "I never do this without condom" and raped her. She told the court: "I just told him many times not to kill me, because that's what I thought he was going to do.

"He said he wouldn't kill me. I asked 'how can I believe you?' He said 'because I said so'."

The attacker asked about her virginity and kissed her wanting her to use her tongue. "He asked me to tell him that I loved him," she told the court.

After an attack lasting 10 to 15 minutes, the man tied her wrists together with her bra. He used her knickers and top to tie her feet and then her jeans to tie her legs and ankles together.

He also put a bin liner-style bag over her head before saying he was going to the toilet, but he never returned.

"I was asking 'are you still there, can I go'," she said. "I didn't hear anything so I tried to untie myself. I couldn't see anybody."

The woman managed to put her jeans on, covered her chest with her ripped top and ran the short distance home where friends help raise the alarm.

She is said to be Mr Imiela's sixth victim during a spate of nine rapes, in which he is accused of attacking five women and three girls.

She described her attacker as a tanned white man, aged in his late 30s and 40s, with stubble and what she said were "deep eyes".

He was wearing a woolly hat and possibly a woolly jumper.

Mr Imiela, a railway worker and married father, denies nine charges of rape, one of attempted rape, indecent assault and kidnap between November 2001 and November 2002.

His first attack is said to have been the rape of a 10-year-old girl on the Stanhope Estate, Ashford.
