Temperatures look set to fall across Kent with rain expected to hit the county from tomorrow.
For the first time ever in September, the Met Office reported six days of hot weather as temperatures exceeded 30C for many throughout the country.
The scorching conditions led to thousands heading to beaches in Kent to enjoy the glorious sunshine.
However, the Met Office says temperatures look set to drop, with highs of 25C expected today and much-needed rainfall tomorrow.
Initial spots of rain are predicted to hit Kent from about 11.30am tomorrow and last for the remainder of the day.
This is expected to increase in the hours afterwards, with up to 30mm of rainfall on the cards for places including Ashford and Maidstone.
Sittingbourne, Canterbury and the eastern part of the county, including Margate and Dover, are also expected to see rainfall throughout the day.
It comes after the Met Office recorded its hottest day of the year so far on Saturday, when temperatures reached 33.2C at London’s Kew Gardens.
