ROVER has introduced Special Edition Rover 25 and Rover 45 ranges in celebration of the spirit of the Commonwealth Games. It follows the announcement that Rover is the official car sponsor at the XVII Commonwealth Games.

The “Spirit” and the “Spirit S” SEs feature enhanced specifications over standard models to provide extra value and appeal.

The Rover 25 Spirit Special Edition features as standard: 15 inch Fission alloy wheels, electric sunroof, remote central door locking and is available in a range of vivid colours: Oxygen, Midnight and Royal Blue, Solar Red, Starlight Silver, Sienna Gold, Alumina and British Racing Green. In addition the Spirit S features air conditioning in lieu of the electric sunroof, leather steering wheel and gear knob, electric front windows and door mirrors, front fog lamps and a CD tuner. A stylish mesh facia insert and heater control surround has been added to the Spirit range complementing the Chequers interior seat fabric.

Prices start at £8,870 for the 1.4-litre Spirit and £9,700 for the Spirit S 3-door. The affordable 2.0-litre turbo-diesel is £10,495 for the Spirit and £11,495 for the Spirit S three-door. Five-door models are an additional £555 across the range.

Rover 45 Spirit Special Edition is available as either a saloon or five-door hatchback with a range of engine choices: 1.4-,1.6-,1.8- and 2.0-litre turbo-diesel. All Rover 45 five-door Spirit Special Editions feature air conditioning, CD tuner, ABS with EBD, remote central door locking, four airbags, electric front windows and door mirrors. Rover 45 Spirit Special Editions are available in Oxygen, Midnight, Royal and Wedgwood Blue, Solar and Copperleaf Red, Starlight Silver, Sienna Gold, and British Racing Green.

The higher specified Rover 45 five-door Spirit S has further enhancements including 15 inch Serpent alloy wheels, a leather steering wheel and gear knob, a rear spoiler and front fog lamps.

The Rover 45 four-door Saloon Spirit S has an even greater level of specification, which includes heated front seats, headlamp power wash, 16 inch Cosmos alloy wheels and leather seats.

Prices for the Rover 45 Spirit, range from £11,650 for the 1.4 5-door to £14,870 for the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel Spirit S Saloon.
