Have a break, then take another break before you chomp that Kit Kat - it's worth £10,000!
Too late, a Maidstone gran's gone and done just that.
The hungry lady from Boughton Monchelsea sadly didn't follow the Kit Kat advertising advice when she wolfed down a prize winning snack and threw away the wrapper, without realising it could have netted her a mountain of cash.
And she gave the Kent Messenger the proverbial two fingers when we tried to help, insisting the red Kit Kat she'd eaten was not worth £10,000.
The gran is reported to have munched into the bar without realising it was a winner.
That fact only came to light when she told her grandchildren about the strange red coloured chocolate treat.
Nestle then confirmed that if the bar was red inside, the little snack would indeed have been worth a small fortune, and if the owner had kept the wrapper she could still claim the cash.
According to a spokesman there are thousands of prize-winning Kit Kats distributed in stores around the UK but only 10 red ones that can net the top prize.
A special code inside the wrapper can then be entered online to confirm the prize, while a golden winning ticket inside make the £10,000 Kit Kats "difficult to miss" according to Nestle.
But if all evidence of the prize-winning snack is disposed of then any chance of a lucky break is lost.
"They would have lost £10,000," added the spokesman. "There's not much we can do."
Let's just hope that Kit Kat was a tasty one.
