Swedish garage rock stars The Hives have been added to the impressive line-up of Zoo Thousand festival at Port Lympne.
The sharp-suited Main Offenders made a successful return to the limelight with last year’s Black and White album featuring hit single Tick Tick Boom.
They are headlining the kmfm sponsored event alongside New York’s Mark Ronson, whose album of covers, Version, with the likes of Amy Winehouse made him one of the hottest musical properties around.
Also topping the bill are Irish alternative rock act Ash who have four top 10 albums to their name since forming in the early 1990’s.
The festival also features leading acts including Ivor Novello award-winners Athlete, The Cribs, The Young Knives, Funeral for a Friend and British Sea Power.
Dance fans will not be disappointed with appearances from Dizzee Rascal, Roni Size Reprazent, Lethal Bizzle plus a DJ set from Bloc Party.
There is also a strong contingent of Kent music talent including Underground Heroes, Lupen Crook and Kid Harpoon. A weekend ticket for the festival, which runs between Friday, July 4 and Sunday, July 6, with free parking is £99. One day tickets are £45/£25 for children.
