Girl band The Saturdays has been confirmed as the final act at this summer's concert series in Rochester.
The group will perform all their hits for the crowds at the
Castle Gardens on Friday, July, 16, including If This Is Love, Up,
Issues, Forever is Over, the Comic Relief track Just Can't Get
Enough, and their new single, Ego.
The Saturdays formed in 2007, consisting of Mollie King, Vanessa
White, Una Healy and former S Club Juniors Frankie Sandford and
Rochelle Wiseman. Since then they have produced a platinum selling
debut album, a sold out UK tour and six top 10 singles.
Tickets for the concert cost £29.50 and will go on sale at 10am
on Monday, March 1.
The other acts confirmed for this year's concerts are Status Quo
on Wednesday, July 14; Will Young on Thursday, July 15; and the
return of The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra for the Castle
Proms on the final night of the concerts, Saturday, July 17.
Cllr Howard Doe, Medway Council's portfolio holder for community
services, said: "This is one of the most exciting line-ups for the
concerts we've ever had, and there really is something special on
offer here for everyone.
"I am sure that anyone who buys a ticket for any of the concerts
will enjoy an unforgettable evening this summer."
