The Vaccines are among the new additions to the line-up at Lounge On The Farm.
Joining the London four-piece, who have been indie music’s stand out stars of 2011, will be 1990s Liverpool rockers Cast and alt-folk band Dry the River.
Also just announced for the festival are Braids, Big Deal, Vision of Trees, Two Wounded Birds, Eaguls and Goodnight Lenin.
The Vaccines, who fuse the 1970s rock of The Ramones with the vibe of modern New York indie foursome The Strokes, will appear on the mainstage before Katy B on the Saturday.
Their debut album, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? was released through Columbia Records last month and reached No4.
Liverpudlian Britpop four piece Cast reunited last year after a split in 2001 and will headline the The Meadows stage on Friday night.
Their debut album All Change in 1995 went on to become the fastest selling debut album in the history of the Polydor label, outselling the likes of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Who and The Jam.
Lounge On The Farm at Merton Farm near Canterbury will be headlined by The Streets, Ellie Goulding and Echo & The Bunnymen.
The festival takes place from Friday, July 8 to Sunday, July 10.
