Guests attending the KM Big Quiz will have the chance to win an unusual prize.
Brewer Scottish and Newcastle is donating a year's supply of John Smith's bitter as the star prize in the charity raffle.
The quiz will take place at 7pm at Maidstone Leisure Centre, Mote Park, Maidstone on Friday, June 12 and tickets can be bought through the website www.kmbigquiz.co.uk
Causes to benefit from the proceeds are: Guide Dogs for the Blind, Mayor of Maidstone Charity Appeal, children's road safety charity Kent and Medway Walking Bus Group and Heart of Kent Hospice.
The cost for a table of eight people is £60, which is £7.50 per person. The ticket price includes a ploughman's meal and a glass of wine provided by Sainsbury's of Maidstone.
To beat last year's records more than 61 teams of eight must take part and more than £5,400 raised for local causes.
Scottish and Newcastle is already backing the event by donating all the stock for the No Nonsense Charity Bar which will be run by staff from Barclays Bank.

Events organizers are appealing for other event partners to help support the event and need runners, a team of scorers to keep track of team totals, additional raffle prizes and round sponsors.
A number of sponsors have already agreed to support the KM Big Quiz with Maidstone Leisure Centre providing the venue at a substantial discount and P&O Ferries donating vouchers for all eight members of the winning team to take a car and up to nine passengers to France for an extended trip.
Fremlin Walk, Sainsbury's, Turkey Mill Events and Day Smith Hunter chartered accountants and business advisers have also signed up as sponsors.
To have a quiz round named after your business or organisation costs £100 in sponsorship. To be a main sponsor for the event costs £500.
