Thieves escape with vintage motorbike

POLICE are investigating the theft of a collector's motorcycle worth £5,000, which was being stored off road in a Kent village.

The BSA Thunderbolt was taken from Ashford Road, Charing, near Ashford, and police believe it may be sold onto an unsuspecting collector.

The bike is fitted with wodden panniers and a fibreglass box on the back.

Anyone with information about the theft, which took place between midnight on Thursday, June 14 and 8.30pm on Wednesday, June 20, is asked to contact police on 01303 289180 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
