A BRITISH Bull dog worth around £395 has been stolen from a house.

The thief broke into the property in Charing, near Ashford, causing £100 damage to the back door, and stole the animal while the owner was out.

A man from the Dartford area, who claimed he was interested in buying the dog, had contacted the owner. He was given directions to the house, but the owner has had no further contact with him.
