THIEVES forced open a door at a farm and stole a tractor worth several thousand pounds.

The red Valpadana 1225 model is one of only a few of its type in the country and was taken from an outbuilding at a farm in Selling.

The thieves, who also stole some power tools, struck overnight between March 9 and March 10.

The theft was discovered at around 6.15am.
