Three trucks in pile-up on M-way

A MAN was taken to hospital early today after a crash on the M20 involving three lorries.

One lorry driver had to be cut free after being trapped in his vehicle for around 45 minutes. Members of the emergency services said he suffered minor injuries.

The pile-up occurred on the London-bound carriageway near Swanley. The other two lorry drivers were uninjured in the crash which happened between junctions two and three.

All three lanes of the motorway were shut.

Kent Police said the crash happened at about 3am. It caused major hold-ups.
