A MAN suffered facial injuries after being punched and kicked to the ground on Margate seafront.

The attack happened during the early hours of Saturday when four men are said to have beaten their victim in Marine Gardens, where he was found by patrolling police officers shortly after 1am.

The main offender is in his mid twenties, between 5ft 8in and 5ft 10in tall tall with short brown hair, and spoke with a Scottish accent.

Police have spoken to people who were at the scene of the attack but want to hear from anyone else who may have seen the assault. A CCTV recording in the area is also being checked.
