Entry is free to veterans, as well as serving personnel and all former employees of the Chatham Dockyard and Naval Base at any time up to the 1984 closure.
Veterans guests will receive a specially reduced entry price of just £8.50 per person for up to a maximum of five guests. To be registered a pass application and ticket request form must be obtained and returned. The form can be downloaded at www.thedockyard.co.uk
The benefits of the veterans’ passes and special tickets is also extended to all currently serving members of the regular and reserve forces.
Prices for the public are as follows. Adult tickets are £13.50, children aged five to 15 £9, concessions £11, a family ticket for two adults and two children or one adult and three children is £38 and an additional family child £6. The tickets, which can be bought on the day, are valid for 12 months.
Church service passes are limited to just 400 and must be applied for on the pass application and ticket request form. Only 1,000 tickets are available for the Beating Retreat and Ceremonial Sunset event.They can be purchased either on the pass application and ticket request form or by calling the Historic Dockyard ticket office on 01634 823826. Tickets are priced at £10, £8 and £6.
