Peter Tobin, the man found guilty of murdering schoolgirl Vicky Hamilton, is bidding to have his conviction overturned.

Tobin was jailed for life and ordered to spend at least 30 years behind bars for killing the teenager more than 17 years ago.

He was branded unfit to live in a decent society by the Judge in the case at the High Court in Dundee.
