Popular maker of navigation devices TomTom has launched a new version of its Go range.

The device has been thoroughly revised and features a choice of three screen sizes giving users the ability to `pinch to zoom' and navigate the various features in ways similar to modern smartphones.

Alongside the unit's newly designed map interface, access to TomTom's acclaimed traffic data function is available via a connected mobile phone or by opting for an all-inclusive unit complete with a built in data connection. Either way, TomTom is offering its traffic service on a `lifetime' no extra cost basis.

Prices and availability are expected to be revealed closer to the product's launch date.
