kmfm DJ Tony Blackburn has taken to social media after being snubbed at the star-studded memorial to Sir Terry Wogan.
The veteran broadcaster, who has been recording his Sunday kmfm show today, was not invited to the celebratory service at Westminster Abbey today.
Those attending the service included, Chris Evans, Joanna Lumley and Peter Gabriel.
Sir Terry, who died in January, presented several TV shows and used to host the Radio 2 breakfast show.
But, writing on Twitter, Tony said: "I would love to have paid my respects to my friend Sir Terry today, but sadly wasn't invited!
Follower Susan Bentley responded: "So sad but rest assured Sir Tel would have wanted you there #headsshouldhanginshame".
Tony said he was "sad about it as I knew him so well and he was a lovely man, and invitation would have been nice."
Others among the hundreds who attended the memorial service included singer Katie Melua, who sang a song, and Gloria Hunniford.
The snub followed his sacking by the BBC earlier this year over a disagreement about his evidence to an inquiry into Jimmy Savile.
BBC director general Tony Hall, who spoke at the service today, confirmed at the time that the BBC had "parted company" with Tony Blackburn.
