The parents of a 28-year-old man found drowned yesterday have thanked well-wishers and police.
The body of John Howells, who was known as John-John, was discovered in Margate.
He had been missing from his Leysdown home since the evening of July 7.
Speaking through long-time family friend, Susan Wildego, John and Melita Howells said they had been touched by people's support.
They have received lots of emails and messages on Facebook.
The couple also wanted to thank the emergency services who had searched for John-John.
The 28-year-old lived with cerebral palsy and acute asthma and had become obsessed with Michael Jackson.
His mum said he had changed since the superstar's death two years ago and had recently become depressed.
Mr and Mrs Howells, who live in Blackheath, hope to have a funeral service on the Island at a date to be arranged.
