As the cold and icy spell is set to continue, train operators have decided to run their winter weather timetable.
The bad weather means Southeastern is changing the times of some trains and some peak services will be busier.
Southeastern will run the winter timetable on Friday.
People are advised to travel earlier or later to avoid the busiest trains.
Snow is expected to start falling from Thursday afternoon, so travel earlier if you can to avoid the winter weather.
A spokeswoman for Southeastern said: "When the mercury plummets, even the lightest dusting of snow or rain can freeze and insulate the electric rail. This cuts power to our trains and stops them moving with any speed. By running the Winter Weather Timetable, we enable trains to stop and start less which means they are less likely to get stuck.”
