Travel is returning to normal as snow continues to melt in Kent today.
Southeastern trains announced last night that it plans to run normal Sunday timetable and a normal weekday timetable on Monday after almost a week of disruption.
But drivers are still being warned to take care on the county's roads, where patches of ice and snow remain.
A Southeastern spokesman said: "We thank our passengers for their patience and ask that they bear with us while we work around the clock to repair the damage to many of our trains caused by the snow and icy conditions.
"As a result, there may be a small number of short-notice cancellations and some trains with fewer carriages than normal over the next week."
In a traffic alert issued last night and covering until 11am today, the Met Office said: "A combination of low temperature and surfaces being wet from rain, sleet or snow and a partial thaw of lying snow will lead to icy stretches affecting untreated surfaces".
Highways England is advising drivers to continue to take care on the roads as even though conditions are improving there are still pockets of snow and ice across large parts of the county.
A spokesman said: “Anyone thinking of using the roads should be advised to keep their distance and reduce speed, because even in conditions that seem normal, it can be slippery if ice patches have formed, or where fresh grit has not been worked into the carriageway.”
