A council's set to serve papers on travellers who have set up camp on a car park near Gillingham's training ground.
Several caravans and vehicles turned up at the Beechings Cross training ground in Gillingham on Wednesday.
It is believed the group pitched up after they left Victoria Gardens in Chatham.
Gills players were due to train at the ground, which is owned by Medway Council, today and Sunday in preparation for their first game of the season on Tuesday night against Bristol City.
A Medway Council spokesman confirmed they had received a report of an unauthorised travellers' camp on the ground.
A spokesman said: "The council will be serving legal papers on an unauthorised traveller camp, which has set up on the car park adjacent to the Beechings Cross training ground."
