The judge in the Jack Treeby murder trial has started summing up the case to the jury at Maidstone Crown Court.
The trial has been disrupted this week by jurors not being able to get to court because of the snow.
Bill Treeby, 50, his wife Charity, 51, and sons Billy, 30, and George, 23, all of Queen Street, Paddock Wood, deny murdering the father-of-five.
They also deny attempting to murder Jack’s brother Gary Treeby and his son Jack, causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Gary and attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm on Jack Treeby Jnr.
The jury has heard that Jack, 35, of Sunderland Drive, Rainham, was run over and killed by a Range Rover in Quarry Road, Tovil, on December 27 last year.
Gary Treeby was shot in the leg at close range and beaten. Shortly before, Jack Treeby Jnr was struck by the Range Rover.
The violence erupted after Billy Treeby allegedly grassed on Jack Treeby senior on Christmas Eve last year.
The trial continues.
