A devastated dad has paid tribute to his "one in a million" toddler son.
Three-year-old Dylan Quin passed away in his sleep at the family home in Broad Street, Sheerness.
His parents Michael and Nazif are awaiting test results to find out what caused the toddler’s death.
Mr Quin, 29, said Dylan was a typically active tot who was always running around and listening to music.
"He was a very active boy and absolutely loved anything to do with music whether it was grabbing hold of my guitar and playing that or listening to Tinie Tempah on YouTube and making us dance to it," he said.
"I will remember that most, that really was his thing. He loved music and singing and dancing.
"In my eyes he had the cheekiest smile a kid could have and that smile was there all the time.
"We took a lot of photos and it’s not until this has happened and I have looked back and in every single photo he’s got a big smile on his face.
"He loved the camera and he loved to smile in front of it. He was one in a million."
The family is staying with Mr Quin’s parents Sheila and Gary in Alexandra Road, Sheerness.
Dylan was the middle of Mr and Mrs Quin’s three children and he leaves an eight-year-old sister and seven-month-old brother.
Mr Quin said he and his 24-year-old wife have been comforted by messages of support, including from staff at the Just Kidz nursery where Dylan attended.
He added: "We would like to thank all our friends and family for their messages of support and sympathy.
"We understand it’s been hard for them to know what to say but everyone has really got behind us.
"To the friends who have tried to talk about anything but what happened and family who have supported us, I want to let them know it’s really gone a long way.
"I can’t give every name, there are too many, but they will know who they are."
An inquest was opened and adjourned on Tuesday after Dylan's death early last Wednesday.
Police were called and a spokesman said there are no suspicious circumstances, but the cause of death remains unknown.
